First, there is Volvo longstanding program delivery overseas, which offers consumers two free tickets to Sweden so they can get their turn at the head office in Gothenburg. Volvo will even allow customers to take their new car on a trip to Europe, return to the factory when they were finished, and Volvo will ship it to their broker in the United States for free.
Certainly, there are some catches with the program - namely, customers must buy their car at least 30 days in advance of their trip, and they will have to wait five weeks or more for her to cross the pond to the States United (Aim customs can only take three weeks or more.)
Another point worth mentioning: the program delivery abroad is no longer accepting orders for 2011 models. However, Volvo is pleased to offer models 2012 to 2011 prices. Not bad, right?...
