Mamie Eisenhower's birthplace is an interesting place. I say interesting because it has great potential to be very engaging, but falls somewhat short. The Eisenhower was revered when Ike was in office and they are still generally held in high esteem by most Americans good. Grandma was quite the lady of his time and well-liked. We were somewhat surprised by the brevity of our visit.
The house itself is small enough and the price is, although it is an interesting story.Everything we read, including signs inside and outside the site says $ 4, but when we were in the middle of the tour 15 minutes (yes, half way and yes, 15 minutes) They have asked us six dollars.
To which I replied, "For both of us?"
